It’s the exact opposite. Birth rates are down in developed countries where life is less shitty. People don’t have kids because they have better things to do.
The argument is life sucks, why make more suffering.
Poorer countries and poorer people in developed countries have higher birth rates so I doubt that’s the reason.
More related to our leadershit consistently making shitty decisions. This is but one example in a long-established pattern.
