No, it was a bad show, but it was bad in an enjoyable way. It was aqua teen trash. We all love aqua teen but we aren’t watching it looking for philosophical lessons or deeper meaning. We watch be because we are stoned and judge Judy isn’t on.

It’s serving different pressures. Woz served the makers, the needs. He’s the Adam Savage of that generation. Jobs is a techbro. He’s innit for the money. He doesn’t care how or why it does a thing. He just needs to jerk off the investors. He was incredibly skilled at what he did, don’t get me wrong. He was absolutely brilliant there.

But they served different masters.

There’s a lie that incredible wealth makes people happier. That has never been true. It can remove certain stressors from your life, but it’s a trade. It comes at a cost. You have new stressors and those cannot ever be satisfied.

It’s not just a belief. There’s been studies confirming this. After a certain point adding wealth does nothing to your happiness. Go far enough and you end up miserable, enslaved by your wealth.

It’s a trap. Only a fool wants to be rich.

Woz understood this. He’s the real deal. Jobs did not. Jobs was a pretty damaged person and kept trying to fill that hole with wealth. It didn’t work. It just made him rich and angry. Woz was well adjusted and comfortable. He’s getting what he actually wanted out of life.

He isn’t. Israel is. Trump doesn’t have any real power.

Everytime republicans handle a health crisis, it’s the same damn thing.

GOP: “leave it, it will only kill off people we dislike.”

Steve Jobs had a similar ability to manipulate. He used it to sell electronics. Trump uses it to bomb brown people, tank an economy, kill all progress, and drive up the costs of said electronics.

It’s not a super power. It’s not even all that rare. It’s just mental illness being celebrated because he’s portrayed as rich. Rich people aren’t crazy. They’re colorful.
