Sadly our part of the trade deal is 15% tariffs on our part flat and in reverse we put 0% tariffs on anything

For the first time in a while Bavaria doing something based? No way

Springer is right wing but I think its a bit much to call them Nazi. Also 20% ownership doesn’t mean they run the company

Yeah some days Qwant is a bit unreliable, although for me its at most was a few hours. Qwant is my default but I also have other search engines bound in firefox inspired by DDG Bangs (for example !ddg for searching on DuckDuckGo)

Qwant and Ecosia both work together for the european search index. I think when data is missing also both use bing results in a private manner to substitute entries. For the most part Qwant is quite good imo

Visa and Mastercard, suck it! You do NOT get to decide how I spend MY money. Got it?

Oh no does a wittle old president have fear that two men or two women might actually live a happy life together as a couple? How pathetic…

Its not news at all. Electricity prices in Germany have been bad for a while now, ever since the war in Ukraine started, when we stopped buying cheap russian gas and shut down nuclear. Still its the right path to renewables, we shall never depend on russia or any single actor in this way again hopefully.

Yeah lets just ignore what Erdogan is doing to the CHP and Turkish opposition parties in general

With what forces and manpower? They got completely diminished in Ukraine. And the Tankies still think this is the good guy

Yes, obviously the EU is an evil an imperialistic empire duh… And the nations don’t decide to join the EU, they get annexed by the evil bureaucrats in Brussels trying to destroy your identity and lives (/s to make it obvious)
The game and story is incredibly unique. I definitely got emotional towards the end and still have Life is Strange 2 on my “must play” list. Can definitely recommend it for people who enjoy story games and the choices within it that affect the outcome. The thing with rewinding time and such and the plot connection with the storm is also really well made. The choice towards the end was a though one to make at all though.

I mean you guys do you. Through the European Market access you guys have to still follow a bunch of things we decide without getting a word in it so it might not be an awful idea.

It would be a very unfair two-tiered system if the new states didn’t get Vetos but the old ones kept them. Thats like the entire problem with the UNSC. We should just abolish Vetos like this in its entirety

For a moment I freaked out that they were only gonna exclude Linux and not open source in general but it seems they exclude based on the license based on this article which is a good thing. The dozens of OpenBSD and FreeBSD users may rest safely now

Or buy and rip DVDs to put it on your Jellyfin homeserver

But it might be more expensive than it should be for those tickets and it limits the days traveling through your own country in outbound and inbound days. Not optimal for someone living near borders and still interrail often doesn’t even have seat reservation. This needs to be booked through a different portal. Also private train operators are often not included at all which is another downside
If the treaty says the military would react to any attack of a member stack with duty to defend all, the countries wouldn’t get to vote on it. Only for outward missions this would be needed
I mean if it gets implemented it will get the duty to actually like… you know defend its own member states. There would be no coordination or possibility to veto in this case. A veto could only be a problem if we tried to send the EU army somewhere outside of the member states and have them take on a mission there
I think its a good thing as many Russians as possible that oppose the war can leave Russia. This makes it harder for Russia to keep their country and economy afloat and potentially reduces the people they can draft to fight. Its just theres also a decent risk of espionage which is why I think some countries, like Poland that border Russia shouldn’t have to allow Russians with European Visas to enter their country since its a security risk.
