IDO5 isn’t a celebration of Israeli culture. Its purpose is to celebrate the country/government. The theme of this parade is “Proud Americans, Proud Zionists”

Haven’t played Alan Wake but Control is worth a spin. The story is decent but I feally enjoyed the ambiance. And that one level (you will know which one) is definitely one of the coolest of all time.

Do you doubt that suicides are on the rise? I don’t at all and I’d argue that’s even worse than death from abuse or negligence.

I know we’re comparing the lesser or two evils here but people choosing to take their own lives really stresses the direness of detention to me. They might get sent to another country. They may never get released. They are so hopeless, they’d rather die.

The culprit is the same so I’m not shifting blame. I just completely believe that people are killing themselves. If I was in their situation, I might, too.

Apple has invested like 10% of that, choosing instead to outsource. IMO they are the real winners here (of the previously-established tech giants)

My prediction is that Anthropic will “win” the AI arms race in the US but it won’t really matter because Deepseek continues to one-up them and OpenAI’s bankruptcy will destroy the economy anyway
