People in general seem to have a hard time grasping the notion of just how much power we all have collectively. It is why so much time and marketing goes into promoting the idea of “the individual” being the most important thing in my opinion. The more people only consider themselves the less power they have to get what they want and need.
Part of me hates to see her try. As long as she is straddling the line between serious presidential candidate and popular US House member my head cannon reasons there is still some sanity in some small part of our political institutions.
Watching her actually seriously try to get the top job and watching the DNC ruin her for it would be so depressing.
The problem here is not her message, it is how the headlines present it.
She is not saying that having a billion dollars is wrong per se in a vacuum. she is saying how you go about getting a billion dollars in the real world is what makes it wrong.
That distinction is far too subtle for the average voter. She is talking about the rules of chess while ~50% of the country barely knows how to play checkers.
The better thing to focus on for people is probably the methods by which billionaires go about making their money more so than the specific amounts of money they end up with because of it.

Funny way of saying “half of Gen Z are not falling for the typical consumer spend spend spend trap”. And as a millennial I say good for them. About time large chunks of people see the consumption driven economy game for what it is.
