Hah, lemmy.world would never choose to join the faf. In any case we only accept anarchist instances as we are supposed to share rules

That’s what the FAF is for. We have multiple instances with the same admins, rules, defederations etc to hedge against rogue sysadmins.

The FAF is a confederation of instances which ultimately act as one. /0 is one of them yes.
Until now our democracy seems to be working well.

It’s possible but will be very easy to manipulate by people making alts and sockpuppets. You’d need a way to verify individuals.
The Fediverse Anarchist Flotilla is already experimenting with this sort of radical democracy, through our regular governance threads and our radical admin recalls but we have to rely on paid supporters and individually vouched people to stave manipulation.
Anyway, people can already repurpose the threativore which is the bot that enables this voting to handle the extra stuff you suggest and give it a try.

That’s honestly the only explanation for that build at just 1.5k. More likely they’re just a stinking liar 😅

32g vram gpu for less than 2k is unlikely. A 4090 itself would be close to 2k

That line is actually a quote from “Red” Emma Goldman.

I’m just speaking from experience. This is how things play out in these situations.

I.e. “I just saw a modlog entry, jumped to conclusions, didn’t ask for clarification, didn’t speak to anyone from that instance, jumped straight into making a drama post”

Marked for a while now https://gui.fediseer.com/instances/detail/lemmychan.org
You can Follow our censures against bigotry and csam on fediseer to ensure you don’t stay unprotected until someone brings it up

Please don’t do that that. Hounding people in irrelevant threads just comes off as harassment and makes you look worse than them.

You talk about instances utilizing this tooling, but in your comments you admit it’s just some mods. This is misleading, as talking about instances doing it assumes admin access and relevant instance policy, something which invites calls for defederation (as can be clearly be seen from the comments in your post).
A random mod doing something is not the same as an instance doing it. Literally anyone can be a mod and they don’t get any more access than an anonymous account by doing so.
This is the second time in one week I see you throwing careless statements like chum in the water. I can’t help but notice a pattern emerging.

Woman must have been an antideluvian vampire to require such extreme measures.
Let’s be real, there’s no way the collapse of pax Americana was going to take centuries
