More Americans agree with progressive positions than conservative or liberal ones. Why is this the belief that people have?

Yeah, man. It’s entirely on the apathy of voters and nothing to do with 107 years of locking up or killing any one to the left of Bernie Sanders, villianizing socialism/communism, defunding higher education, and attributing every success to capitalism and every failure on socialism.
Like, Christ on bikes man. The US was Europe’s sin eater, taking all of the expectation for running the global hegemony of capitalism while Europe was forced to spend money on rebuilding. Y’all got to retreat with the ill gotten gains of empire, had enough space to force concessions on quality of living, and didn’t have jackboots on your necks. Meanwhile, we became the fucking world police, with a double serving of fuck the little guys at home.

That fund doesn’t have a dollar amount. Someone suggested the $1.7 billion amount, but there is nothing in the agreement that gives a limit.

Jump through the shame hoops, poor! Perform for rich daddy! Be shamed for being a poor and denying us our profits!

Can we take a beat to acknowledge that this shit has exactly as much evidence as the “rigged election” that Trump always whines about?
Like, there is no evidence for this incredible claim, and yet I hear people talk about it like it’s a fact.
No, there’s no evidence that elections were stolen. Dems ran someone with no electoral support, with almost no runway time till the election, and corpo DNC “strategists” kept kneecapping any good idea the campaign came up with. It really isn’t surprising she lost.
Like you understand that extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. And no, a toddler saying they stole an election isn’t extraordinary proof.

UBI is a thought terminating cliché. It’s meant to put off the question of what the hell is gonna happen when labor isn’t needed until it’s too late for labor to be able to do anything about it.

Yeah, Thunberg was definitely arrested in America. Just, uh, don’t google it.
Cops can be amenable with enough controls, sure, but they ultimately serve capital, man.

The fact that swating still happens just proves how much of a joke policing is in general. The fact that you can get a bunch of gun-wielding adrenaline junkies to show up somewhere, frothing at the mouth for violence, in the most spurious of ways is a damning indictment for the whole institution.

Man, I can’t tell what you’re trying to say here. It sounds like you’re trying to bash others for lacking science literacy when you’re hating on Meta-analysis, an important research tool, because it takes less effort.
Yes, this doesn’t prove that testosterone doesn’t play a role in risk-taking behavior. But it does prove that testosterone alone isn’t a strong indicator of risk-taking behavior. Which is important to state, because as the paper states, lots of research has been starting with that as an assumption.
They play Linkin Park, but only from after Chester’s passing
Most voters don’t have the information to match their policy preferences with candidates. They choose candidates by vibes. I’m saying the POLICIES of progressives are popular, it’s a case of using politics to get people to see you represent their best interests.
