People in the US generally don’t care about soccer, so they wouldn’t see the value in eating the cost for people to come here and use up a considerable amount of infrastructure.

I like soccer, but not enough to watch it (or any other sports). If the burden is so great on the cities, then the ones who make the most should offset the cost. But then how would those that make the most…make the most?

I like my Chromecast setup. I remapped the Netflix button to Plex, so I push that button on the remote and the TV turns on and goes straight to plex. The Google TV UI is “meh” at best, and also full of ads, so I avoid it.

Roku just keeps getting worse and worse. It is highly inadvisable to connect a smart TV to the internet, a separate streaming box is the way to go. If Apple TV/Chromecast/whatever completely goes to shit, one can simply get something else.

I can’t wait to see how he spins the outcome of his boondoggle, and more so how his base contorts themselves to call this a decisive victory.

During my first year of college, I had a writing class. The professor made us join this new micro-blog platform. I tweeted a few times, which were part of some of the assignments. I thought the idea of <140 characters to be interesting. Paying for that sounds hilarious.
