Progression and tech trees are my favorite parts of rpg games. Good incremental games distill that part to a fine, highly concentrated progression liquor. I also prefer that they conclude in under a few hours. Fuck the endless ones.

I’m gonna go off on a bit of an unrelated rant here, but can we quit with the fucking “this timeline” shit, please? There is ONE timeline. You live in it. There wasn’t some Marvel movie multiverse bullshit where we suddenly shifted into some “dark” timeline. There is THIS ONE REALITY which has a past that we can learn from, and a future that we are responsible for.
