So how are they expected to come down? If new capacity becomes available the ai companies would gobble it up again.

41·18 days agoI built mine in 2015 and planned to upgrade 10 years later but I was waiting for a better CPU than Zen 5’s X3D lineup (read: either more cores or dual die cache), then the RAM situation happened. This is how I’m playing games on an Intel 4770k in 2026.
This is why I’m considering jumping the gun and buying at least the case for the new PC I wanted to get since last year
(My current one doesn’t have a proper side panel so anything would be an upgrade)
