Don’t let perfection be the enemy of good.
At least they are fighting back. And now they have the collective power to stop working.

This is what conservatives want: medicine based on various opinions at the state local level so that you can’t know what is true.
We need a collection of states to band together to form their own medical board that rivals the federal version instead of individual states that are making their own decisions. Last I heard, California, Oregon, and Washington was working on one but I haven’t heard much from them since the announcement.

I actually like this approach. Better than the wackamole approach of pRoTeCtInG tHe KiDs

Outside of the sheer incompetence of this administration, is there ANY chance this was done intentionally as a honeypot or something along those lines?
The fact that the commits were explicit along with bypassing all the checks could read as someone trying to see who knocks on the door.

Until those who made the arrested are themselves arrested and charged, this means literally nothing.
The chilling effect is in full effect.

I got really lucky. I bought my PC between the crypto crash, right before the AI uprising.
Buying from Costco is still relatively decent.

Company is going to challenge that they can’t give that away for privacy reasons.
But they can sell it for profit reasons.

They no longer provide a free tier. It was 10 login entries and I think 5 simultaneous logins.

I use Dashlane myself. It’s free tier is 10 logins which is a bit of a joke.
I like Keepass and do use it for my non-critical stuff. I sync using syncthing
Edit: Dashlane no longer offers a free tier.

He’s going to switch parties. I guarantee it

But AI would be doing the debugging, not humans.
Why would AI bros need to worry about reading the code?

Omg you weren’t exaggerating:
“Your request that ‘the federal government should give a $5,000 tax rebate for all new electric car purchases’ means that the federal government must take that money out of the pockets of hardworking people who may not have the means to buy an electric vehicle in the first place,” Foxx wrote. “YOU and your classmates will be responsible for paying down the national debt,” she added pointedly, arguing that climate change wasn’t as pressing as the ballooning of the national debt.
Maybe, just maybe, he’s considered this and he’s willing to do that so, you know, there will be a future to pay the debt into?!
She offered him links to learn more about climate change from Fox News, National Review, The Washington Times, and the Wall Street Journal editorial board.
You know…gotta be love the brand of the GOP. Absolutely no science journals.
“‘Incidentally, please ask your teacher to explain propaganda to you,” Foxx wrote.
You know what…nevermind. No notes.

I actually wonder if programming languages is going to be a thing in the future.
Each language gets compiled down to 1 and 0s. Couldn’t LLMs just get trained in that? “These set of 1s and 0s do login” etc.

I’ve been rewatching Community and the more I watch it, the more I feel like Britta’s “dumb” comments are real.
“If voting had any effect, it’d be illegal!”

As a technologist, I have to remind everyone that AI is not intelligence. It’s a word prediction/statistical machine. It’s guessing at a surprisingly good rate what words follow the words before it.
It’s math. All the way down.
We as humans have simply taken these words and have said that it is “intelligence”.
Deportation is a federal administrative action.
This was felony kidnapping.
