Most corporations are near-term driven, not long term. It’s why many don’t innovate anything anymore. Quarterly profits matter more than anything

Has…uh Putin been living under a bed? He’s been attacking them for years. Hell he’s lucky Ukraine isn’t “allowed” to bomb them like Russia bombs them

That he doesn’t really have the brains

Has meta ever invented anything? I always thought it was ironic he called out apple for iPhone and then doing nothing, but all they’ve successfully created was Facebook, they bought everything else and illegally sold our data to get rich

I’m like 99.9% sure Donald J Trump is a national security liability and threat?

That’s the reason the US is in a downfall, anytime we have a infrastructure project (i.e California’s train) the government shuts it down due to cost, they think about now and not long term.

Isn’t China in far more debt than the US? About 300% of its GDP. Sure, we’re declining, but so are they and they never really rose.
Trumps just sped up our decline.

Almost all the road work around me is state, not federal.

I’ve said it again and again, for the US under the current administration it doesn’t matter what happens, we’d rather have 75% of our population dead than quarantined for 2 weeks because of our “liberties”

14,500 miles driven here mostly for work and family. Even if it was 5 cents a mile that’d be $700+ in taxes a year just to operate a vehicle. What’s really funny is how dependent our American cities are on cars, you’re stuck needing one, but eventually you won’t afford one due to taxes.

The gullible part is thinking the federal government fixes the roads with your money at all. More than likely it’ll go to Israel.
I bet the pick ups will pay less than an EV driver and are one of the main causes of road damages

Especially true on reddit, the Plex hate is real - yes they’re raising lifetime pass, but it’s not valuable to them for you to buy it. That’s why it’s raised until you only want to use the subscription.

This is why I dropped jellyfin immediately. How do I explain / get these extra steps working for family? People should have gotten the lifetime when it was cheap, and I’m surprised they even offer it anymore - some companies are dropping it, i.e Tesla FSD.

My sole problem with jellyfin is the ease of use for remote access. I can’t explain to my 60 year old mom, or 80 year old grandma how to set up a VPN.

Why it was $80 and I haven’t paid a dime more, lol. If I get 2-3 years out of it that’s extremely cheap compared to a $20/mo netflix subscription.
If a company has been around for 5 years and offers a lifetime warranty with a good product and another company has been around for 50, but offers only a year warranty I’m going with the newer company.
Even 2 years of warranty is better than 1.

You thought he was non profit? Dudes probably pocketing 30-40% of the companies money

Dick pics, but data collected by meta

Just like the circular deals 90% of the “profits” we’ve seen reported by these AI companies is just fake money
We’re living with the consequences of his generation and the generation before him currently. Unaffordable housing, low wages, high taxes, falling apart economies and a constant threat that we’ll be replaced as soon as possible to please the CEO lords in the name of short term profits!
