Today’s game is Ghost of Tsushima. I’ve been slowly making my way across the island today collecting collectibles. It’s slow tedious work, but kind of relaxing. It has made me do something I haven’t done before though really: I put a YouTube video on in the background. I had a bit of an aversion to this before, but honestly with this level of tedious work? I appreciate it (for anyone curious it was an hour long video on Digital Horror).

Surprisingly going through the world has felt a bit like a roadtrip. As such I thought I’d try and experiment a little and show the “highlights” of locations. Namely the most stand out one to me was this forest. It had really pretty lighting and a calm atmosphere. There was a guy here who said ghosts haunt the forest but I ignored that to wander to my next destination.

There was this pillar I visited too. It was on this really scenic cliff side. When I went to take a photo of it there was a bird perched on top so I snapped a picture of the pillar with the bird on top. It was a really cool shot to accidentally get.

Another highlight was this shrine I climbed right as the sun was going down. It was really pretty to watch it dip below the waves. I ended up just sitting and watching for a bit. I paused the video and turned up the volume. A nice experience overall.

Those were the notable standouts of my voyage. I think for now I’ll try and let Ghost of Tsushima take a back seat while I get collectibles, then I’ll bring it back into the fore front once I start the DLC, but maybe I’ll check in every once and while and share my progress. If not though I expect to be sharing a lot more Twilight Princess
