It seems like Jeffries is finally waking up. I’ve been calling for his head from the moment he was chosen, and I’m still a hater, but I have to admit that he’s been sounding different lately. I think the SCOTUS decision and the gerrymandering stuff has finally broken him.
He was actually bitching about Democrats “unilaterally disarming,” and how it is time to stop doing that, along with a few other statements that indicate he might be finally seeing the light - MAGAs aren’t going to do the right thing just because you are polite to them.
Now the rest of them have to get the message, and a good freewheeling primary is exactly the right arena.
