Seeing that heatwaves are becoming more and more commonplace, it makes sense. I mean I’m an office worker and I felt like death was at the door Monday and Tuesday when it was really hot, so I cannot imagine what someone with, say, a construction job has to endure.

We can’t rely on bosses to do the right thing and send people home when it’s too hot, we need something in the law.

Our big glass office building was a furnace on Tuesday and of course none of the windows open. It has air conditioning but it’s not really designed for these kind of temperatures so it wasn’t really doing anything. I actually did go home in the end and just worked remotely, but there were people that stayed in the office all day. Presumably they are the cold blooded lizard people we hear about.

At the time, people had called his decision to locate his fledgling business in frigid Dalwhinnie, in the Scottish Highlands, a foolish move, but Noah MacGregor had had faith that it would all work out.

Isn’t AC usage greatly associated with increased global warming? How are they proposing offices be cooled?

Edit - nvm, I actually read the article.

    What in the actual fuck?

As if workplaces aren’t cold enough.

If you think your workplace is too cold now, imagine how could it’d be if there wasn’t a legal lower threshold.

Now imagine the same but for too hot.
