    the first 15-year-old had been diagnosed with ADHD as well as anxiety, the second 15-year-old had an IQ in the “bottom 1% of his contemporaries” and had also been diagnosed with ADHD

    A lot of people have ADHD and don’t lure and rape girls. This occurred with twice with two victims. Premeditated. They entered a not-guilty plea.

    I believe prison could have very negative effects on these boys, but this does seem too lenient.

      ADHD could have some bearing, if it was something quick and impulsive. Premeditation makes it even more damning however.

      Either way, it’s not an excuse, just a factor to account for in corpus mentis decisions.
