      the most damning part is they don’t even deny it publicly. if this happened even three years ago, heads would roll in Washington and people would lose their elected positions.

        Well that’s when the Dems ruled.

        But Trump1.0 was pretty bad too, and gave everyone an understanding of where this is heading, incl. the steady escalation.

    What a stupid timeline.

    We… accept an information system, that will take thoughts a toddler could type and spread a crude manifestation to millions of people… because it’s good ragebait?

    That’s not normal.

    Nothing about any modern social media is normal. It’s beyond fucked up, and its bewildering that we get all this analysis of the fallout, yet the vast majority of the population (even intellectuals and scientists, like this researcher and journalists) cannot see the platforms being at fault.
