This is why I can’t ever say Trump is my most hated person/person who did the most damage to the US.

The Trump administration is EXACTLY what Moscow Mitch wanted, he’s just pissy that he lost control in the process.

I agree with this sentiment. If they impeached and removed and started taking actual steps to fix this mess I could maybe start to have an improving opinion, anything short of that it’s just continued enablement.

You enabled this you stupid fucking turtle. Figure it out. Your entire ideology going back decades has led to this very predictable situation, which people have been warning you about the entire time. You made your choices.

I honestly didn’t know he could still talk. All I’ve seen from him over the past 6 months is that confused look on his face and no words.

He didn’t actually physically say it, it was an issued statement, according to OP.

My reply from earlier -> They should be going through Congress. Power of the purse. I was being snarky.

Haven’t been following too closely, but I didn’t think this was something congress would vote on. Isn’t entirely through the Justice Dept?

The full quote is even mmore condemnincondemning:

“So the nation’s top law enforcement official is asking for a slush fund to pay people who assault cops? Utterly stupid, morally wrong – Take your pick,” said McConnell, a Kentucky Republican.

He’s retiring. Republicans spend their lifetimes doing evil and then all of a sudden stick out their atrophied remnant of a moral backbone on the figurative (and for McConnell probably literal) death beds.
