US President Donald Trump said on Thursday he was sending 5,000 troops to Poland, reversing an earlier decision to cancel the deployment as Washington presses Europe to shoulder more of its own defence burden.

Trump said the move was based on his relationship with Poland’s president Karol Nawrocki, a nationalist ally whom he said he was “proud to endorse” in elections that Nawrocki won last year.

Aww shit, I thought Poland had escaped the clutches of far-right tricksters. Not for long apparently. Let’s hope he’s anti-Russia at least (hard to imagine anything else in Poland).

After losing his facist Hungarian centerfold, Trump had to find a new favourite anti-woke idiot to string along. Looks like Poland was unlucky enough to come out on top there.
